Stange year really i am seeing some great italian teams play -
dont blame napoli for losing twice to city - those two games may have been the toughest two all season for city..
Roma bashed chelsea
chelsea beat athleti
juve , milan also playing great - they have 4-6 top clubs in the domestic league, like the pl
all the while la liga is falling a part - the french league is dead due to PSG monaco not upping there game or other teams , but psg may well be up there as the best european team with city.(how times change so quick).. Germany has not done well at all.
England despite having city that is up a level from the rest is about them improving so much - because man u and totenham have also improved themselves.
liverpool as they were - chelsea inconsistent.
but all 5 could get through and arsenal playing well enough in uefa. everton bad in the league - bad in europe.. what can i say. just crap at present.

Performance of teams from Europe's big four leagues in the Champions League this season Country | P | W | D | L | F | A | GD | England | 20 | 15 | 4 | 1 | 56 | 17 | +39 | Spain | 16 | 7 | 6 | 3 | 25 | 16 | +8 | Germany | 12 | 4 | 3 | 5 | 17 | 20 | -3 | Italy | 12 | 5 | 3 | 4 | 20 | 18 | +2 |
Edit: that is more or less a copy/paste from BBC, so not sure why they've put Italy below Germany there. But I think the headline here is England are KICKING arse!

coefficient wise tells the other side to the story and how italy are second in coefficient points to the PL so far this season - bold are 20172018 points won 1 Spain 23.000 20.214 23.928 20.142 7.285 94.569 7/7 2 ngland 16.785 13.571 14.250 14.928 9.500 69.034 7/7 3 IItaly 14.166 19.000 11.500 14.250 7.833 66.749 6/6 4 Germany 14.714 15.857 16.428 14.571 3.857 65.427 6/7 5 France 8.500 10.916 11.083 14.416 5.833 50.748 5/

4 leagues get 4 teams now don't they - so the bundesliga will be the first beneficiary imo
i cant see france getting past them with just one team..
but maybe in a few years time germany could slide to 5th if you look at the drop of points - france will make up 6.2 pts next year - 4 the next - 5 the next - so if we say ligue one gets the same points as germany in the 3 years from this point on - germany will go 5th!
however italy may have an issue in two years with the 19 pt drop of.

spain have major issues imo with all the 20 plus and i cant see any more dominance of that like.
premier league should be top in 3 years

Maybe a false dawn, I actually don't see an English team winning it. Maybe Man City could, I suppose Man United could grind it out as they are pretty solid, but not enough attacking threat so I don't really see it. Tottenham, maybe if they get a good draw and play out of their skins when they meet the big guns in the later stages, but again, I don't think their odds are good. Chelsea don't seem at the races yet this year, and Liverpool I feel are going to get exposed in the later stages.
But the bigger picture is English clubs are back and are gonna be a threat for years now with the money involved.
Could be total dominance in a few years time.
I think we should bring back the British Empire as well, start taking over shit while our spirits high. Maybe test the water with somewhere easy like Belgium. Then start working our way through Europe, maybe Germany next, then when France see what we've done to Germany they'll surrender. And at this stage we wont even need to worry about trivial things like Brexit negotiations.
Am I getting carried away?

man city second favs(bookies) for a reason - however i actually am putting them as favs over psg(bookies fav)
the team is playing football that is so great.
yeah man u have a shot - i also think if messi can remain git and suraez sorts whatever his issue is out (lack of blood? too much sun? ) they can obviously win.
Bayern are getting better - and better than the psg thrashing - i am awaiting that rematch with interest - as it will tell us more
the thing about coefficients is that when the PL wasdtop it won less comps than spain - but it packed quaters and semis that gets you more points than just one major team in a league going all the way. that is looking more likely

Between 2004/05 and 2011/12 there was an English team in every final but one. Including an all English final. But only won three CL during that spell.
Total dominance though between 76 and 85. English team in every final, and only failed to win twice. Liverpool, Aston Villa & Nottingham Forest in on the party back then. But then we got banned by UEFA for 5 years because we were winning too much, and didn't get to another final for 14 years.
We need to get that back, if Madrid and Barcelona become uncompetitive, they aren't going to be able to turn a players head.
We need to CRUSH their spirits! Grind their faces into the dirt.

Although when it happens, they'll just dream up some rule to make it harder on us. Or just ban us again. Or "effectively" ban us by saying we have to share our TV money with them or something, which obviously we will refuse, then they will say it is either that or you don't take part.
They'll pull some shit out of their arse.

well UEFA make much more money when Premier league teams play and get far .. and money rules.. and dispite them wanting more of the pot we can just call their bluff and say we will create another super league and invite other teams..like we have 10 times over..
