Most contemporary media iterations pronounce John Constantine as "John ConstanTEEN", when its actually "John ConstanTINE", I hope they get that right with JLD... link

NO, the name derives from the Roman emperor Constantinus (a monster, he was who implemented Christianity as state religion).
He is pronounced in Latin or Greek ConstanTEEN-us. So, screw gay ConstanTINE. Nobody want to hear that.
