Most contemporary media iterations pronounce John Constantine as "John ConstanTEEN", when its actually "John ConstanTINE", I hope they get that right with JLD... link |

NO, the name derives from the Roman emperor Constantinus (a monster, he was who implemented Christianity as state religion).
He is pronounced in Latin or Greek ConstanTEEN-us. So, screw gay ConstanTINE. Nobody want to hear that.
