After seeing the movie, I genuinely think that it was probably as definitive of a finale as the franchise could possibly have. I know that there are talks of X-23 getting her own film, but I don't think that's entirely necessary. I'm not saying they can't make more X-Men related films down the line, but Logan seems like a pretty good ending from a chronological standpoint.
Any thoughts?

It's hard to disagree just because I felt they achieved so much with Logan; IMO none of the previous Wolverine or X-Men movies come anywhere near to being as good as Logan was. A part of me wonders if they would do a movie about the Westchester Incident but I'm actually ok with coming to my own conclusions about what happened there rather than it being spoonfed to us.

It should end with Logan. The leader and the most recognised X-Men are both dead, there's no need for another continuity.

Logan seems more like the end of that generation. There is talk of continuing with Laura and Alpha Flight movies (woman on phone). And I heard someone say that the woman on the phone could also be someone like Jubilee and she could head up a version of Generation X.

I think we all know that the franchise isn't going to end any time soon. Also, with the success of Logan, the studios are going to try and get as much benefit out of it as possible.
Personally, I'm looking forward to an X-23 spin off film.

I agree, except we were teased with Mr. Sinister being the next villain and I would love to see that!

Since Logan is set in 2029, Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart actually could still play Wolverine and Professor X over the next 12 years in movies set within that time frame.

i agree, maybe a tv series to bridge the gap between Days of Future Past and Logan. Don't need movie cast

I'd rather see the series continue with new mutants than start off another X-Men series with the same old characters.
