Susan's revenge plot is pretty ridiculous, but it also seems pretty clear that she did in fact brought Will back to life, then had him brainwashed into believing he was her son; probably going so far as to call him EJ.
What doesn't make sense is the level of Rolph's dedication to that secret, killing himself to try and protect the truth; especially since obviously his death was only a speed bump in the investigation. Whereas if he had lived, he could have proactively stonewalled the Scooby gang, and better ensured they found nothing.

The only pretty ridiculous thing is your perception of the storyline and the fact that you failed to comprehend it.

Nothing makes sense in any of this!!! It's all so stupid. Honestly...I don't even know what to think about this show anymore. There's nothing creative or interesting, everything is just outlandish and nonsensical.

Damn this show... This is like the anti-"This is Us".
I knew from the start of this episode that because Paul was the one to see Will behind the bar, without being drunk, that he was going to go the typical soap selfish route and not tell anyone that he saw him. They even had to have him drag out saying who he saw, copping out and saying it was Lucas.....
At least we had a good Lumi scene.

Perhaps you should stop watching, for your own sake?

At least we had a good Lumi scene. Are you on drugs or something? None of those atrocious "Lumi" scenes are ever good. Lumi is one of the worst thing ever on the show.

At least they didn't drag Paul keeping this a secret, like I expected them to do. Still seems like exhuming Will's grave would have been the sensible first step before even going to Memphis on an otherwise wild goose chase... And as always, I find it inscrutable that Paul says he's only kept this information a secret for 24 hours, when it's been the better part of a week; and then lo and behold, Sami exhumes Will's grave, hops on a place and makes it back to the hospital in nothing flat. I know, this is nothing new, but I think that's the thing that grinds my gears more than anything, is that no matter what they do, no matter who they hire as head writer or how often that changes, the writing stays exactly the same. All of the nuances never really waiver, it's the same ridiculous logic, the lack of funds is becoming painfully obvious (look no further than the sad turn out for Lani's party) and the stories still move at a snails pace; I was really starting to get impatient with this "search" for Will, and only seeing everyone talk about it, talking about the progress of the search, talking about the failure of the progress....

I'm glad Paul finally fessed up. That would have made me mad.
The Day of Days preview makes this story seem much more exciting than it is, although when Will said his name was EJ today, that was interesting although not surprising.

I have a feeling that Susan is really Kristen. Susan wouldn’t be smart enough to undermine such a big task and Dr. Rolph wouldn’t have taken his own life for Susan. For Kristen, I’m sure he would. This is just too diabolical of a plan for Susan. I actually love this stuff. It’s way over the top, but isn’t this what Days is most famous for?

I thought that the other day myself - I suspect Susan is really Kristen. I also think that because the last time we saw Susan, she wasn't so angry towards Sami and all of them.

It's definitely Kristen. When Sami said today that Kristen tried to steal Susan's baby from her just like Susan is doing to Sami, Susan said "that is a lie" and only Kristen would say that was a lie...

Damn, I gotta give them credit; it may have been the minimal amount of effort, but they at least made an effort to explain Will's cheating death without contriving Rolf having some magic elixir that literally revives the dead. I appreciate that they went to the trouble to say he was never really dead, and Rolf faked it from the start.
