What would you rather watch? Ton of football on right now - just turned it off because Jaws is on - which I've seen 8 billion times. 1-0 Great Movie. Go! ![](https://s26.postimg.org/s8tffwvq1/cheers.gif) ![](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/pmLP0QQPqFw/maxresdefault.jpg)

Depends. There are certain movies I have to let play when I encounter them. And depends on who and what for the sports. I have little interest in college games.
Jaws is good, but it's not something that draws me in. The mayor and Quint are caricatures.

Jaws is good, but it's not something that draws me in. The mayor and Quint are caricatures. I'd have to rethink this if it was an Eagles game. Or a Phillies, Sixers, Flyers playoff game - but agreed - I think it comes down to 'sporting event' and 'movie'. Another movie I've gained appreciation for over the years. Heat with DeNiro and Pacino which I've seen a zillion times as well but tend to leave on. ![](http://flickminute.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Heat-Coffee-Shop_-Pacino-DeNiro-_first-shared-screen-time-together.jpg)

Terrific movie. In a cold brutal winter here in the North East - I love the marathon on Feb 2nd that's played here - gives us all a bit of hope Spring is right around the corner. Bill Murray is stupendous as always. Regular season Sixers or Flyers game vs. Groundhog Day on Feb 2nd? I'm going Groundhog Day. ![](https://33hpwq10j9luq8gl43e62q4e-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/0uA1AFe9s8sx-cq80.jpg)

DVR the movie, watch the game. Any movies out there you can watch over and over again and it doesn't matter how many times you've seen them? ![](https://cadburypom.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/youre-gonna-need-a-bigger-boat.jpg)

DVR the movie, watch the game. Any movies out there you can watch over and over again and it doesn't matter how many times you've seen them? Lots of them. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly would probably top the list. I've seen it 100,000 times, have the blu-ray. But if it's on, I'll usually watch it.

But some of the modern 'westerns' I enjoy (which I know old school Western Fans laugh at) Young Guns Young Guns II 3:10 to Yuma (remake) True Grit (remake) The Proposition

Sports, easily. You can see movies anytime, but sporting events you can only watch live, movies it doesn't matter when you watch them

You can see movies anytime, but sporting events you can only watch live, movies it doesn't matter when you watch them Don't you have any favorite movies that may pertain to your own personal taste you can watch over and over? I tend to do the same with books. Have an extensive collection - but find myself going back to my 'favorites' all the time. Example - as far as movies (one of the few times I think a movie is better than the book). Misery was on the other night (Stephen King book). I think it's brilliant. Can watch it over and over again. Think the atmosphere, acting, plot, ending are all fantastic.
