Now that we know that Big Sam is going to Goodison and Moyesy is going to the Hammers, who will finish higher in the EPL, if both stay up ? My assumption is that the inept Palace will go down as will Swansea and A.N.Other. Much will depend on the January transfer window and how Mark Noble responds to Moyesy. Why Noble never gets into the England squads, I'll never know. He's one of the most under-rated players in the EPL. If he hits it off with the new guy, then the bubbles will be blowing over the Millenium stadium. Sam, on the other hand, will take over a mish-mash of mainly new signing that Koeman bought in August. Some of whom have been a disappointment (Sigurosson, Klaasen, Keane) and others who are disaffected (Barkley) or ageing (Jagielka, Baines, Rooney. They both need to turn things around quickly. Sam looks the more likely to succeed but I wonder....

Is Big Sam defo going to Everton?
Well, for the sake of argument, let's say he is - my money's on him to get the more of what his hugely talented squad than Moyesie out of his. I think Moyes has lost the dressing room before he's even crossed the threshold so is facing an uphill battle to begin with. I'm thinking Brian-Clough-to-Leeds levels of enthusiasm, but with Bob-Bradley-at-Swansea levels of competency.

I'd put my money on Big Sam finishing above Moysie, but it does normally take Big Sam 6 or 7 weeks to get his troops organised so if I was Everton I'd get him in ASAP. He's making the kinda sounds that make me think he wants to come back into football now.
Hard to say who is going down. It is a really tough league and someone is gonna go down who'll feel they don't deserve it.
I don't think Palace are doomed yet either, December is key for them though, in fact their next 8 games are games they can pick up points in. They will need 15 points out of the next 24 to give themselves a decent fighting chance I'd say. I'll see where they are then.

Thought Sam only wanted a national side job now.

Thought Sam only wanted a national side job now. Heard him the other day saying football management is an addiction and he is an addict. Definitely didn't sound like he was ruling anything out like he was a few months ago. I think he is coming back. Although I don't know for sure if it will be Everton.
