This is probably being discussed elsewhere but if you were lucky enough to be a high-earner (£millions) and therefore on a higher tax bracket, would you look around for ways of reducing your payments to the Exchequer ?

Yes. Everyone would. As long as it doesn't negatively impact on your business or image (if you are in the public eye) too much.
Let's put it this way, if you were filling your tank up with petrol, and you had the choice of two pumps, the tax free pump, or the fuel duty petrol, would you ever buy the exchequer petrol? No one wants to pay more tax than necessary.
But I do think the likes of Starbucks, Google, Vodafone etc take the absolute piss and the government needs to clamp down. If the rules aren't working you change them.
But I wouldn't move abroad. Like it too much here, even the shitty weather.
