I wonder how long this has been in the works? It sure explains why he didn't pick up Ep. IX when Trevorrow was fired.

Pass. No interest in a trilogy about "Rey, Poe, Finn, and BB8." Enjoy 'em, kiddos.

Pass. No interest in a trilogy about "Rey, Poe, Finn, and BB8." Enjoy 'em, kiddos. Its brand new characters, all created by Rian. They are not reusing any main characters that we know of.

Disney had already announced new films with Rey, Poe, Finn et al. I would imagine Rian will be directing those films

I'll wait until I've seen The Last Jedi first before if I decide to be excited for this or not.

Well be sure and click on the blue text! It's a wonderful satire of the way we are as a fandom!

Pass. No interest in a trilogy about "Rey, Poe, Finn, and BB8." Enjoy 'em, kiddos. That doesn't make sense. The current trilogy IS the trilogy about "Rey, Poe, Finn, and BB8." If you haven't noticed the OT characters are supporting in this.

I have no (serious, actual) interest in the current trilogy as I view it as Twilight in Space fan fiction that's just not canon or worth taking seriously beyond mocking the bad MaRey Sue writing, and I care even less about a new one centered on those characters without the OT regulars. And that emphasis is according to Kathleen Kennedy, by the way.

Now you've corrected that statement that you have no interest in ANY trilogy starring them including the current one. That's different. To each his own. Peace, brother!

I didn't correct anything. I added context to my original statement to account for your hairsplitting semantics.
