This may or may not get removed again on YouTube. The other one I posted did, so thought I repost it if you didn't catch the other one. Anyways, I don't mind it, but tonally though, it's very Avengers-esque (to put it mildly). There are some really good cues and moments, but then there's also some very generic ones as well. I think it's better than Han Zimmer. I didn't mind him with Man of Steel but didn't like his score in BvS, especially considering a lot of it was just rehashing. But overall, Elfman is fine, but his Batman theme seems kinda shoehorned in. Maybe I'll have to wait to see the actual scene for context, but it's alright. Wonder Woman score was the best for me.

I’m surprised you even care Yeah, why's that? August 24th, you made an assumption that the film was bad.

August 24th, you made an assumption that the film was bad. Okay. Didn't really know that, but thanks for heads up. Maybe my opinion has changed since

Yeah.... I don't really like this too much. I mean the Wonder Woman Rescue track wasn't very good. There are some standout tracks like Steppenwolf's, which I do think is very good, and maybe one or two others are decent. But I did truly like what Zimmer did, I know Junkie XL was going to be scoring JL, but I think it should have been a collaboration rather than removal, because I think these pieces of music lack is a propulsion and a bite.
And well.... I'm guessing the MoS theme is gone, which is a shame.

You don't hire Danny Elfman to just copy Zimmer. I get it. But he should have at least reused the motif for Superman. Other than that, the score is fine. Not as good as what Zimmer did on MoS or BvS, but serviceable.

But seriously, to play devil's advocate, I think it is likely that the great MoS theme is not there for spoiler reasons. Sounds ridiculous, but remember the spoilerific shitstorm unleashed by "Qui Gon's Nobel Death" track ob TPM soundtrack. Don't be too surprised if you still hear it during the film.

Well, a lot of tracks of the film score are not laid down on their official scores, and only published decades after (cg Star Wars scores). But lets wait and see...listen.

No, it's basically gone, someone who saw the film said it was I remember it was to be heard in the trailer when Clark stood in the cornfield - but if gone: pity, it was fine. I read too that the great Williams theme is to be heard at some time (which of the 2 leitmotives is not clear). A timely combination, variation and synthesis of Williams, Zimmer and Elfman would be the way, like with the directional styles.

Absolute lazy effort by Elfman. Using previous scores from his Batman days and the old Superman theme is just moronic. But anyone who has been following his scores in the past 10 to 15 years shouldn't be shocked.

Holy hell...
The music sounds like a mix of a bunch of 80s adventure movies. Stuff like The Rocketeer and Dick Tracy and The Shadow. And there is part of the Avengers' theme in there, also.

It's a rush job made from a person who came from the outside, and musically it has zero similarity to MoS, BvS, or even WW.....again just listen to the WW rescue track. BvS's score wasn't perfect but it had an identity, it had noticeable motifs, here it's all kind of this undefined mush..... I mean can you hum anything?
