I've only included the albums by them that are actually good. I really can't decide between October and the unforgettable fire, so i'm going for October because few seem to like it.

Out of those selections, "War".

Not one of my favorite bands, but 'The Unforgettable Fire' is kind of grand.

A tie between 'Achtung Baby' and 'Zooropa' but I think 'Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me' was their best song. ![](https://s10.postimg.org/q2t6fjp49/rowlet_sprite_animation_by_snivy101-da25pcg.gif)

Another vote for Achtung Baby, but of those listed in the OP, War.

Don't know most of their albums. Bought Boy when it came out - tired of it quickly. Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby are ok.
I do like an assortment of their individual songs. SBS is my favorite, but don't recall anything else off War that stands out.

Out of those selections, I must go with "War". It features my all-time favourite U2 song, "New Years' Day".

Achtung Baby, but otherwise The Unforgettable Fire.
