and tells you that your religious believes/religion/non religious believes are wrong. It/he/she/them/etc doesn't want to tell you what is right and also tells you that you have to decide instantly which religion you want to follow. Which one would you chose?
No answers in the line of "I would continue to believe in what I believe in now, god is just testing me" as this is a game (i'm not god...I think).

I'm not well versed enough in what religions other than Christianity and Islam teach. But Christianity would certainly be excluded as central tenets of that religion have been disproven (particularly their claims about the nature of God). So I would probably sway more towards a sort of deist belief. Or if 'god' didn't necessarily have to be a deity, then I would assume that this universe is a computer simulation, given that the simulation theory is looking increasingly likely anyway.

Im happy with the way I treat myself and others, without the prescriptions of any god. They all seem awful to me.

Assuming that it was truly God I was encountering, then my response would be, if my religious beliefs that I have followed all of my life are wrong, then I give up. I love you Lord, I throw myself on your mercy. Do with me as you will. Then I would just wait for him to do whatever he wanted to do.

" No answers in the line of "I would continue to believe in what I believe in now, god is just testing me" as this is a game (i'm not god...I think)." Yes, I read that. I didn't answer anything like your example answer. I assumed you meant that for the already religious, who don't want to even consider for a second their god isn't the real one.. Im saying I don't WANT to follow any religion out there, they are all awful. And if that god has issues with me and my lack of belief, and wants me to make an irrational leap based on limited information, I certainly wouldn't worship that god, even if i knew which one it was. I also wouldn't pick one in the hopes of getting it right, because this real god seems like a jackass. If you dont like my answer, feel free to move on.

I have no idea what system of rules and stories he thought I was supposed to believe.

If God stood before me I wouldn't need to choose any religion. Who needs to make travel plans to get to their sunny vacation getaway if, by some miracle, they wake up on its beach listening to the waves and sipping a cocktail? If God stood before me In the way you say, I wouldn't need religion to find him.

None. If it doesn't matter enough to Him to tell me which one is right... I'm not going to worry about picking the right one. Wait. Which religion lets you drink and be promiscuous? That one.

Christianity would still have good advice to follow.
I'd probably become an agnostic Christian philosopher since I wouldn't actually know the god I was talking to anymore since the Bible lied about him.
I would simply ignore the advice I didn't want to follow.

To be clear, this is my answer only for this game. It assumes I believe that the person in front of me is the God I believe in which is not really something I would have confidence in at the time.

I would probably choose Buddhism, although I would need to learn more to decide which kind.

and tells you that your religious believes/religion/non religious believes are wrong. It/he/she/them/etc doesn't want to tell you what is right and also tells you that you have to decide instantly which religion you want to follow. Which one would you chose? No answers in the line of " I would continue to believe in what I believe in now, god is just testing me" as this is a game (i'm not god...I think). Suddenly god stands before you...
and tells you that your religious believes/religion/non religious believes are wrong.
It/he/she/them/etc doesn't want to tell you what is right and...
also tells you that you have to decide instantly which religion you want to follow.
Which one would you chose?
The entire premise shows this god to be manipulative and cruel. Which indicates that no matter what I choose I'm probably screwed in the grand scheme of things, no matter what I pick. So I would say, "If you really cared about me and the rest of humanity, you would provide more evidence, so I will still choose agnostic atheism. I wouldn't want to follow a religion with such a cruel god."

There is the issue - assumingthat it really was God, which let's face it, is unlikely.
