Mom - Since you like Two and a Half Men and Big Bang Theory, you'll probably like this Chuck Lorre creation.
Vice Principals and Eastbound & Down - These only appeal to a select taste, but since you like Veep, I'm recommending these HBO comedies. Divorce is another underrated HBO comedy.
If you're looking for current network comedies, I enjoy Fresh Off the Boat, The Goldbergs, and Modern Family quite a bit.
Older network comedies like Frasier and Reba are quite good too.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine makes me laugh. I usually wait till the season airs on Netflix and just binge on them all in a day or two.

I like Mom too. The characters in Mom seem real and natural and I like that they don't sugarcoat addiction struggles that people go through all the time, like the woman who celebrated her one month of being sober, by ironically getting drunk and came to her Alcoholics Anonymous meeting completely drunk off of her rocker.

I really don't watch current tv other than an the Orville. but the biggest thing about comedy is WHAT TYPE OF COMEDY IS IT? there is smart comedy like Frasier and big bang theory [apparently. I can't stand that show], there is dirty comedy like Britain's Coupling and absolutely fabulous, there is family friendly comedy, like full house and Gilligan's island, there is spoof comedy like spaceballs the movie or the orville, sketch comedy like Saturday night live [which I can't stand] and monty python's flying circus. there are probably some more sub-genres of comedy but I am beginning to get a nose bleed.
2010's... archer,
2000's... , Raymond, from 90's.. Seinfeld, Frasier home improvement the nanny third rock from the sun, mr bean ab fab
80'.... night court. golden girls the cosby show,
idk about 70's... other than Fawlty Towers and are you being served?
60's Gilligan, I dream of Jeannie, bewitched,
50's lucy [although I dislike when they moved to the country], honeymooners, dennis the menace dick van dyke
the thing about comedy is that it needs to be appreciated. I just don't get how certain shows like Teachers, the Office, HOw I met your mother, The big bang theory, most things from tyler perry, are funny. I don't appreciate that type of humor, but that is just me. I DO appreciate humor that makes you think, physical comedy, makes fun of the current events [like curb your enthusiasm] or some parts/jokes in an episode that make you just lose it -- to the point of even the actors are losing it right with you! [did they ever shoot a herring out of a cannon?]
and some shows that are considered sitcoms are not really all that funny... like leave it to beaver. it's a cute show about a coming of age cute kid, his average 50;s teenager brother, his father who apparently needed his own office for pipe smoking, and a mother who vacuumed in high heals and pearls. back then, we weren't looking for Brent Spiner as a Yugoslavian west Virginian who had his wife hide 125 thousand dollars in her bra. they wouldn't have appreciated that humor back then.
I don't think we could get away with airing shows like night court or golden girls today. not in prime time anyway. I mean, do you want to see Blanche in beach waves and stiletto platform clear heals?

I think a lot are good however, for me none are better than married with children, Al Bundy is almost the best t.v. character ever(one of the best imo), but the whole cast on that show is good.
I don't know if you already are familiar with that one.

Rick and Morty is the funniest and most intelligent show on TV. Also one of the darkest.
Archer is also excellent.

Not sure how far we're going back so I'll stick to the recent stuff
Parks & Rec The Good Place Big Bang Theory - Not sure way this gets hate. It's funny. Blackish - It gets a little preachy though Last Man on Earth
Hmmm, I don't seem to watch too many sitcoms.

That's the the last thingi would use to describe it, that word intelligent, so that's why i'm surprised you called it that. But what about it is?

If you don't like it then you won't agree so it's pointless to explain.
