I would say 4.5 or 5/10. If they actually didn't turn this into a campy comedy it would of been good.
Margot Robbie was good but Kat Dennings would of beenna better Harley.

3 our of 10 seems about right.
I was actually looking forward to this movie. Apparently I had weird DC tastes as a youth because my two favourite comics were suicide squad and Batman and the Outsiders.
Admittedly, this wasnt my version of SS which featured Bronze Tiger predominantly.
Biggest problem was the plot - the squad gets assembled to fight one of their own members? Wtf?
Ruined killer croc for me who was a bad-ass super strong croc wrestler with a real mean streak.
Seemed like they were so worried no one would be interested in this movie without shoehorning a Batman cameo and the Joker (who was never part of any SS comic I read). But every promo leading up to the release talked about Jared Leto’s joker..,
Was Katana really needed here at all? Nice Outsiders connection but what a waste...
How about making the idea that anyone can die a real thing in the movie - don’t bring in a crappy (barely a villain) character and hardly introduce him before killing him. Modern audiences understand cannon fodder!
Too much wrong with this film to go on one post.
Crappy villains, lights in the sky, music video intros, having to remind us every two seconds that Harley is “craaaazy”, blah blah blah.

No way Suicide Squad is better than BvS. Which had a terrific soundtrack (thanks Zimmer) holding the movie together.

As in the ability to swing a bat like in a photoshoot? Harley is more about charisma and a believable craziness/ unpredictability. Margot Robbie's portrayal is borderline annoying in Suicide Squad (except in the flashback scenes) |
