About two and a half centuries ago a fairly new idea in government emerged calling itself the "United" States of America. That was was indeed two and a half centuries ago and things might have changed. This topic explores renaming the country or perhaps changing the organization.

For many years I've thought the People's Republic of America would be fitting, but it wasn't in the choices, so I voted for the World's Cracker Barrel.

I considered putting "The People's Republic of Mayhem" in the list of choices. We have to be careful though. We don't want to give them any ideas. |

The most natural, plausible move (given what we actually do in other arenas) would be sponsorship.
So, we might be, say, "The CitiBank States of America" until 2030. And then we'd be "The Nissan States of America" for the next ten years, and so on.
