Dortmund host Hotspur, after a rather humbling defeat to Arsenal in the North London derby over the weekend, Spurs have done well in Europe so far with Dortmund not doing so well by comparison, can they top off their group with a victory?
1 - 1.
7:45pm KO.

1:2...this would fit my expectations. Why is Mr Bosz so problematic?

why does everyone hate this result -! dprtmouund played well first half. Totenham are a good team. whats the probs lads.. gutted that you tried to have a pop mr Painbow - going 3-1 lol RM smashed APOEL 6-0 or something - BVB could only draw. Tottenham beat RM.= and drew - its not like you need to be Stephen hawkings..

1:2...this would fit my expectations. Why is Mr Bosz so problematic? Some say he has a plan but the players don't fit for his ideas, some others says the team has started to play against him, and since it worked the last time, they might even succeed again. And this is where Watzke (the manager) is to blame. If you teach the players that they can succeed in playing against the coach, they will continue to do so as soon as they don't start to like his ideas. And often employees don't like what the are ordered to do. And instead to adapt or execute these orders/ideas (and as an employee you are obliged by the law to execute the (legal) orders of your superior - at least in my country), they -some key-player of Dortmund- by-pass or even sabotage him. No coach can be successful under these conditions. A third coach won't do that much.

I haven't seen the game. I think bluerisk is right that Watzke did the club a disservice giving players the power to mob a coach (Tuchel) out, but I doubt this is the main reason for the problems at Dortmund. imo Bosz just isn't a good enough coach; Dutch fans warned that he was a one trick pony and that seems to prove true. The great results at the beginning of the BuLi season were deceiving; they won against weak opponents like Hertha and Cologne, now that the coaches have a couple of hours of video material for analysis almost everyone knows how to beat Dortmund. There've been reports the team has fitness issues, too, Aubameyang is doing whatever he wants (I covered that in the German football thread), there's a lot of unrest in the club, things that have nothing to do with Bosz, he's just one of the problems. I would agree that while getting rid of Bosz who seems just not good enough is essential, it won't solve the problems. Watzke has to let go of his sentimentalities and stop protecting players just because of past merits; if the likes of Schmelzer and Sahin think they are in a position to mob out a coach, he has to back the coach.

ok cool - I think its setting up for a good comp for second Imo ( bundies)
schalke, Leipzig with the 2 Brossiua's up there and bayer not exactly miles back.
(We know(PL) as you do this year what happens when your top 4 do NOT get the top 4!)
you lose coefficients and shag your next year CL up.. German football will be fine though.. and its great for domestic,
Italy also looking great again....
PL looking very good as well. Picked it back up very quickly.
Spain and France slip sliding awayyyyyyy.. France have gone to the dark side... Glad Leipzig showed France exactly what they have done....

Last thing I want is Schalke and their anti-football making the CL spots. All they do is grind out results by boring the opponents into apathy.
