No. I dislike both his movies. But I do feel he unfairly earned all the blame for just following orders and directing toy commercials at WB's behest. Seeing what I have from his other movies, it seems he would have been capable of doing a more faithful Batman movie given the chance.

No, I think that Tim Burton and Christopher Nolan are the only Directors that understood Batman.

No because there isn't 1 single Batman i.e. like his comic book legacy. I think the only one who understood Batman cinematically might've been Christian Bale. Everyone else played Batman as the primary, Bale was always Bruce.
Batman Forever is good I think, B+... B&R is top 20 worst all timer though.

Who is this Andre you speak of? My name is Zach, although that's the only personal information that I'm giving to you about myself.

Forever actually has a relatively accurate Batman. Kilmer was sleepwalking, but he's at least anti-killing.
Batman and Robin...uh, if you recall those comics were him and Dick sleep in the same bed, this one channels those I suppose?

I give this trolling a B+. It's a little too obvious for an A, but has proven to be solid bait nontheless.

Schumacher did exactly what he was asked to do. I think he gets too much hate for those films when they are pretty good iterations of the Adam West style Batman show.
But I've never been fond of that style of Batman. Too campy for me.

Seeing what I have from his other movies, it seems he would have been capable of doing a more faithful Batman movie given the chance. Schumacher has stated many times that he would do a director's cut of Batman Forever for free if WB would give him access to all the footage that was shot. WB has never been interested AFAIK so no director's cut. I doubt it would ever be a good movie because of many problems that can't be fixed, such as TLJ's unbearable overacting, but it sure could be made much better. Batman & Robin never had a chance to be a good movie to begin with, but I agree that WB should take most blame, while Schumacher should be kicking himself for not having the common sense to stay away from the project after his bad experiences with Batman Forever.

I personally believe that Schumacher may be outed by Corey Feldman anyday now during his work on the Lost Boys.
Schumacher was the WORST director of Batman films.

Batman Forever is my favourite Batman film. I don't know why the campier aspects of Batman can't be embraced.
Batman + Robin is daft but if you shut your brain off it's kinda fun - a live action cartoon.

Burton understood Batman better but I do think that Schumacher gets too much hate for his Batman movies. They are decent campy popcorn movies.
