I think 'Star Wars', 'The Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi' will all be remade in the next 20 years with new actors so they can make the original sequels that took place after 'Return of the Jedi' that Mark Hamill talked about.

Yeah. Even though I am interested in seeing what the original sequels to 'Return of the Jedi' would have been like with Luke, Han and Leia I don't think the original movies need to be remade but knowing what Hollywood is like it will only be a matter of time before everything is remade.

They will probably wipe the current crop from existence so they can come up with more adventures for Luke, Han and Leia. They look to be doing that now with the latest 'Halloween' movie which strangely ignores the events of all the other movies including 'Halloween 2' and 'Halloween H20' which Jaime Lee Curtis was in. Ignoring sequels is most likely going to become the next fad in Hollywood and I have already heard 'Die Hard 6' which is being described as a new movie and a prequel with a new and old version of John McClane ignores the events of 'Die Hard 3, 4 and 5 and the new 'Terminator' movie ignores 3, 4 and 5 too even though Arnold returned for the last movie.
