The Gyllenhals are awesome! If it were up to me, I would have chosen them to play Han and Leia's children!

The second was a much better actress. I was going to say that she wasn't really good looking but everyone in that movie looked on the ugly side so I guess it didnt matter.

Katie Holmes. Maggie might be a better actress, but for the part of Rachel I thought that: One, Katie did a fine job. Two, and this was especially apparent in The Dark Knight, she's far better looking than Maggie, who IMHO is butt-ugly. I was simply not convinced that Bruce and Harvey would be such rivals for the affections of anybody who looked like her.

Maggie rips your heart out in The Dark Knight, too bad Katie listened to Tom Cruise and dropped out of this sequel that went on to legendary status.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Katie was more apparent in her movie than Maggie was in hers. Still, even if there was less for Gyllenhaal to do after being killed midway(ish) in the movie, I still think the point goes to her for being a bit more fleshed out.
I didn't think Holmes was that bad, however.

I didn't really like either of them in the Batman movies. The Rachel character is one of few things I didn't like about the Nolan Batman flicks.
Katie is attractive, but didn't play the role very well. Maggie was OK, but I don't find her very attractive. I would've personally preferred someone else for Batman's love interest. Vicki Vale would've been a much better choice imo.

I don't care for either to be honest.
