Not just lemon-lime or grapefruit but I mean the yellow Mountain Dew inspired sodas that typically have OJ concentrate in the ingredients list but never taste like it anyhow. The original seems to be the most popular but I like Sun Drop best myself. Please mention any I left out in the comments.

I would say Surge, but since they changed the formula and changed what preservatives are used, it doesn't taste 100% the same anymore. Coke no longer makes erythorbic acid, so it's no longer used in their sodas. Erythorbic acid was in surge's original recipe.
Surge Movement on facebook keeps saying it doesn't affect the flavor. UH HUH, Chemicals always affect the taste. I added food dye to a kool-aid gallon once to make it purple and it made it taste different
Changing the preservatives just didn't affect the ingredient "natural flavors" but it affected the outcome of the taste.
I tried to Moon Mist Faygo. Flavor wise, it was great but since they use Sucralose AKA Splenda in it's non diet I can't have it.
I've been drinking that natural "Zevia" soda but no one ever has their mountain flavor around so i don't have it that often but ATM, it is my favorite

...thankfully, I do not drink soft drinks. Come July 1st, where I live, there will be a one cent per ounce tax imposed on all soft drinks, including diet drinks...that's nearly an extra $3.00 in tax in addition to the already blatant sales tax on a case of 12 oz soft drinks...
As a kid, my fave was Mountain Dew

Thanks for the comments and input y'all. Don't forget to vote! I bought a Moon Mist today! Never had one before. Not sure I ever had a Mello Yello before, but if so don't recall. Very sweet. Like Sprite with an extra cup a sugar and a hint of orange. Back in the day Surge was my favorite. I like Sun Drop now, has a bit of a grapefruit note, I think.

The citrus drinks I like are not listed, 7 Up, twist, sierra mist, Lipton green tea citrus ... This is specifically for Mountain Dew and it's knock offs. Much like Dr. Pepper inspired a slew of imitators that are spicy but not quite cola. Mountain Dew inspired a lot of clones that are citrusy but not really lemon lime.

Moon mist has a clear crisp taste that really gives Faygo a big boost. It's been compared to Mountain Dew but I think moon has a far more more sweet sense of citrus.

I recently had 60/40 from Faygo. Very excellent citrus soda. Way better than 7UP or Sprite or Squirt. I probably even like it better than Sundrop. I always avoided Faygo b/c of being generic looking back in the day, but they really make wonderful flavors. Moon Mist is really good too, but I like 60/40 better.

faygo isn't really sold in my area. we only get a few select flavors in 24 ounce bottles at a convenience store called "Jacksons" inside some shell gas stations
it really sucks they use Sucralose in their sodas. That cotton candy soda was delicious but the sucralose don't like me

It has cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, so it's a step in the right direction.

There is a nostalgic candy shop near me that has lots of glass bottle soda including cane sugar Dr Pepper.

It's apparently from Canada Dry, owned by the Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group. I have not heard of it either, but google search turns up a lot of info. It's apple, orange and grapefruit flavored.

I don't drink much of any of those...and some I've never even heard of. When I drink that type of soda it's 7up (sprite is too sweet) and strangely I like Squirt. I didn't even know 'til recently it was grapefruit, lol.
