JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE NEW FRONTIER
1/10
JUSTICE LEAGUE: CRISIS ON 2 EARTHS
4/10
JUSTICE LEAGUE: DOOM
3/10
There are 2 reasons why I didn't have extremely high expectations for JUSTICE LEAGUE 2017 (and neither should you):
-THE AVENGERS was the 1st live-action super-hero crossover with characters who had already had their own movie. Even if you didn't like it, you have to admit that it became part of cinematic history. Another crossover like that can be overall better, but the rush of watching something new can't be replicated.
-Modern cinematic universes have more than 1 crossover. They're designed to be episodes in a series so, by the end, we'll most likely not feel like we've seen something special.
People have spent a lot of time analyzing and debating about MAN OF STEEL, BATMAN V SUPERMAN and SUICIDE SQUAD's flaws. WONDER WOMAN (is this name ever going to be uttered in this universe?!) was a positive improvement, because it was exciting and at times funny and because people have spent a lot of time analyzing and debating about its virtues. There are also scenes and lines that I still remember. This movie is a negative improvement (yes, that's a thing) because, while it's exciting and at times funny, there's nothing memorable (positively or negatively). Not even a cool shot of all the heroes posing together before the final fight. Script writers Zack Snyder (also the director), Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon had the task to give THE FLASH, AQUAMAN and CYBORG their real introduction (after a couple of cameos) and to develop the 6 protagonists' friendship through conversations, either all together or in different pairs. They do an OK job there, but they had to sacrifice the time to develop the bad guy. STEPPENWOLF is boring and, as the villain who follows up ARES, kind of redundant (they're both too similar). Even for a cameo, COMMISSIONER JAMES GORDON feels irrelevant. Why is he here? To set up BATMAN's new solo movie, which might not even be made? That's not a good reason, because: A) The post-credits scene already sets it up. B) He could've appeared in BATMAN V SUPERMAN, where he could've had the same relevance as ALFRED PENNYWORTH. C) He's played by a famous and talented actor, so we expect him to do or say... well... something! The end of BATMAN V SUPERMAN hinted that The Last Son of Krypton wasn't really dead.
7/10

It turns out that he is dead. OK, but does he come back to life on his own? No, the other heroes bring him back. Then, he thinks that they're enemies and fights with them. I didn't like this subplot at all. It's not explained exactly how much he remembers, because he does seem to recognize The Caped Cruzader of Gotham and The Princess of Themyscira. If he did have temporary amnesia, there should've been a "Oh, it's all coming back to my mind" moment. Also, there's never a scene where he apologizes to the others.
