Er, some context please, blockbuster? Where did this come from? Well, they say that 'X-Men' series is better than MCU because it's dark, gritty, and/or revolving around R-rated films, so I used a similar logic to compare 'Twilight' and Pixar.  |

DC is better than kiddie Marvel because it's DAAAAAARRRRK.
However, that's saying Marvel is made for kids because Pixar is for kids.

Classic Pixar (Toy Story 3 and before) actually deals with mature themes better than almost any other franchise/studio.
Yes, that includes the Twilight Saga, the X-Men Universe, the MCU, and the DCEU.

Twilight is seriously awful and it is best of that series, which is hilarious. I do not know how anyone can even remotely like those terrible movies. I get the reference though. DCEU films are 'dark' and Marvel films are 'kiddie'. I guess dark in this context means disjoined and poor while kiddie means entertaining and successful.
