Two "team" movies with a DC link. Both with high expectations. Both universally panned by critics.

Personally I never had a problem with LXG...quite enjoyed it. Not seen JL yet so no vote from me.

I liked it as well. I'd want to see another adaptation of the comic but I think the closest we'll get to that was the show Penny Dreadful.
