The world will fall into chaos under the black flag of the Corporate State. Take your map of the world and turn it upside down. This is a NWO. Marvel IP will be reintegrated. Many will despair. Hee hee hee... #TeamDeathMan

The thing that bothers me about this deal is that if it goes through, Disney will officially own Blue Sky Studios, Planet of the Apes, Alien, and Avatar. That’s too much for a single studio.
As a side note, wouldn’t they also get the international rights to Titanic?

Well, to be fair Blue Sky Studios' only had one really good movie (The Peanuts Movie), there hasn't been a good Alien movie since Alien 3, Avatar never got a sequel and the Planet of the Apes movies have wrapped up their major storyline with "War".

Or is it just part of it? Because I keep reading different things on it.

A lot of the legal trouble that Time Warner and AT&T are facing apparently has to do with the fact that Time Warner owns CNN, and a certain president isn’t fond of the channel. Disney isn’t buying out 21st Century Fox as a whole, so this might actually slide.

Avatar will be getting 4 sequels starting in 2020. They’re currently filming right now. If Disney buys Fox, they’ll be distributing those films.
