What was the best year of the MCU till now? Be aware that the whole year must stand out, not just one movie.

What was the best year of the MCU till now? Be aware that the whole year must stand out, not just one movie. #teamcolden I'm going to have to go with Civil War, a film I consider not only the best in the series, but the best comicbook film period. And having a really really cool Doctor Strange film, which for me is very close to a top 5 if it isn't, and that was a solid year. This year was great, obviously the most profitable, and the year with Winter Soldier was very good, and I don't think you can treat the year Avengers came out lightly, even though it was the only film. |

2012 for me because that was the summer of The Avengers & The Dark Knight Rises. Both neither really competing head on. Wonder if we'll ever see DC get its act together again (Wonder Woman franchise I think takes a hit from JL).
To that point, in a packed house for Avengers opening wkend... TDKR trailer nicely sat everyone up, one last hoorah of superhero as reality angle.
