They did everything I hate about live action Hulk adaptations.
Mute Hulk being the biggest sin. Thor 3 fixed that.
Hulk barely being in the movie. It's not a Hulk movie...it's a Banner movie. And Banner is boring as f**k.
I kinda hate this one.

4/10. Really drab and forgettable. I actually preferred Ang Lee's version. But at least they skimmed over the origin (I'm talking to you, TASM).

The second entry into the MCU. 2008's The Incredible Hulk! As good as Iron Man was it was quite glaring to have Incredible Hulk be so meh immediately after. The nascent MCU could have failed right then and there if not for subsequent successes. |
