Third entry for the MCU. A sequel that many felt like it was made too soon.
But what do YOU think?

I vote 7/10
As a fan of the MCU I really like the world building here. Also the selfdestruct Tony is in works perfect for me. Its far from a perfect movie to me and the birthday party scene I could do without.

Third entry for the MCU. A sequel that many felt like it was made too soon. But what do YOU think? 8.5 - This is one of the most criminally underrated films I've ever heard of. The idea of having the villain go after him early so that you could separate the villain story out into a situation where he is manipulating a second villain is rather clever. And then they used that time to lash together 3 plots for Tony, one where he reconciles with his father, two where he heals himself, and three where he learns about Widow and Shield. I thought it was really subtle, a little different, and a lot of great scenes. Pepper was amazing in every scene. And I genuinely love the backstory for Whiplash. That opening scene where his dad died and learning from his perspective that he feels that his family was forced out and abandoned to this harsh life. A brilliant guy who can match Tony's mind but also forced to live a hard life so he has this cold brutality. Loved it. One of my very favorite watches in the series.

7/10. Mostly good but probably the worst Iron Man movie.
The villain was dreadful and the action sequences were not that great, it was also a bit slow in parts.
But Robert Downey Jr was as good as Iron Man again. Whiplash was in it so that was cool as was Black Widow.

The villain was awesome. Iron Man 3’s villain was awful. You think so? I thought Killian was probably better because at least he had some unique abilities and wasn't another old man in a wannabe Iron Man costume.

This film was a 7/10 for me. It felt like there was just too much going on, kinda like Spider-Man 3. Between two Villains, Tony health and character arc, Black Widow introduction and more of S.H.I.E.L.D as well as the Avengers world building. It's honestly no surprise why jon didn't return for 3.
It's a entertaining film, but it could have been better.
