Well since space aliens don't have the same races that we have on Earth, it's obvious that Heimdel was always Black and the Vikings white-washed him in their mythology. More games--if there can be an African alien in Asgard then there can be whites in a black society (like real life). He's not an African. He's an Asgardian! Wakanda is a closed society of humans on Earth, in Africa. The country has never let outsiders into their country. And I've never read a Black Panther comic in my life but I still know all of this stuff without needing to have it explained to me on the message boards.

Haha right right. All those untalented native Brits. Sure. Basic question is why is it bad for Asgard to be homogeneous but not a black society in Africa? Disney's executives cant answer honestly.

Yes, they did it themselves. It's been that way in the comics since the 1960's. Yep, and Asgard was all white in the comics in the 60s. And Nick Fury wasn't dark. And James Bond had black hair in the 60's but he has blonde hair today. So effing what? you are complaining about changes that are irrelevant. If they made Steve Rogers a Black guy, I would be the first one complaining but the stuff you are worked up about are completely trivial.

Why is it ok to preserve the black homogeneity fantasy world of the 60s Black panther but not the homogeneity of Asgard? Why make Valkerie Palestinian mix? Are you telling me there are currently no nordic blondes in the appropriate age range of the character who could do the role? Quit fucking around. It's obviously a racial bias. If you cant explain it don't bother to try.

It's a comic book fantasy world.

That's why there isn't a white people. Asgard is a place in another Galaxy, they could be any color.

Asgard was white in the comics-not in the movies. Wakanda was black in the comics-black in the movies. Double standard confirmed so nothing more needs to be said. As I indicated at the beginning, Disney doesn't like a room full of white people (unlike under its founder--Walt loved Middle America-, the Wall Street folk of Disney despise it).

Haha right right. Yes, right. Idris Elba IS better than anyone else who auditioned.
Besides, you're comparing a planet of Aliens to an African Nation. How did the Wakandans build a skyscraper?
Easy, because they're a hidden civilization that is the basis for El Dorado. Only they made sure anyone looking for it was looking on the wrong continent and no one ever knew about them until recently.

And I guess the Palestinian actress was better than all the nordic women who auditioned. But we both know they werent looking for white actresses anymore than they were looking for a white actor for Nick Fury or Heimdall.

Not our fault that the white woman didn't give a good enough audition. Its Disney's fault for not wanting to audition talented white actresses. If they wanted whitey, they would have found one. They didnt want one. As I said at the top.

The black man that your bitching about? Was a glorified doorman. He was presented an important character-even more important than Thor in Asgard society. His role in Asgard was literally about opening a door for people. He served a white king. It wasn't until Thor Ragnarok that they gave him more to do.
