If they get the fox properties wouldn't be best to reboot the MCU? So nothing is messy trying to balance the new characters with current ones. Homecoming fucked up the timeline.

Nothing needs to be rebooted.

No, they shouldn't reboot the MCU because they want to integrate the X-Men and Fantastic Four into it. And Homecoming didn't mess up the timeline, the timeline of the MCU has always never been straight forward - both GOTG take place months apart, not when the years they came out in for instance.

The problem isn't mutants emerging, it's Xavier and Magneto. Their characters rely on them having been around for decades beforehand.

Of course!!!!!!!!11
(Out of character? No. Like, fuck no. Clearly. Why would you -- to do X-Men/FF?! Just integrate them into the preexisting thing; that's what everyone seems to want so just do it ASAP and save me the money I would otherwise spend on FoX-Men tickets at the cinema. For every dollar I keep in my wallet, Disney will make ten more. It's what's Best for Business.)

No, not at all. New characters like the XMEN? Just do an introductory story and go from there.
