Alive...aka Cannibal Holofrost! The pilots buttocks looked like a pulled pork sandwich.
Turner and Hooch...I was amazed at how well the mutt acted. He even managed to portray an incompetent police detective. Also he had a dog. I'd have shot the dog. Night 1.

Once there was a great man on IMDB V1 who used to write like that. "Flick I seen". How stupid I am. I am watching The Beguiled (1971)

I knew it.
I seen Bringing Out The Dead. Marcus (Ving Rhames) makes it worth watching again. "Don't tell me about the Good book now, son. I'll preach heaven and beat the hell outta you."

His birthday gave it away. But I always have to wait to read a significant number of posts to be sure.

Not ready to start a thread like this again so I'll put mine here Sausage Party - Not nearly as funny as the reviews would have one believe. However, it was different and that scene before the ending scene...

I left the birthday in there as a big hint. For any old timers. But like most things I got bored and impatient.

The Green Inferno...Eli Roth is a disgusting director. Having said that...the movie, for the splatter cannibal horror flick it is, isn't terrible. Its about a bunch of college age activists whose plane crashes in the amazon and they get captured by some tribe of cannibals...horror ensues. It does lose its edge constantly with a lot of juvenile gags. For example after one particularly horrifying death scene one of the characters gets a fit of diarrhea and is forced to poop in the corner of their bamboo jail cell much to the disgust of the other captives. There are several scenes of this nature that make me wonder if Roth really wanted a horror flick or a spoofy comedy. The death scene i mention though...one of the most gruesome ive ever seen. It's up there with the one from Bone Tomahawk. All in all a watchable, yet passable horror flick...but pretty much par for the course for Roth. Im not a big Roth fan btw. Despite my love of horror im not huge on splatter and this one had a fair bit of that. You do see Lorenza Izzo nude tho...even though the scene is hardly erotic. Nips ARE there.

I really liked that movie but forgot all about it. Saw it in the theater.

Xmen Apocalypse...Pretty good I thought. I saw this one having mixed to negative reviews so I kind of went in expecting it to be about as bad as Last Stand, but this one was about as fun as the rest of the First Class trilogy. Apocalypse was decent and there's a ton of cameos and minor roles added to this film which any XMen universe fan could enjoy. It was a fun action centered superhero flick.
