The Mountain Meadows Massacre. Well, that was about 15 years after Smith was killed, no? After the majority of Mormons had already moved to Utah under Brigham Young? Apologies if I’m not getting the history right, but that’s what I remembered...

The Mountain Meadows Massacre. Well, that was about 15 years after Smith was killed, no? .... What you say is true, but the murderers were all Joseph Smith followers. And then the Mormon Church (more followers of Smith) were able to cover up the massacre for several years. These people all followed Smith's teachings; ergo, Smith advocated the murder of un-Mormons.
