Finland is 100 years old, the country that gave us the word Sauna, where they dance Tango and Jenka, and Nokia Phones connected the world for awhile and domintated the market.
And won Eurovision once too

Both the High School and the College I went to had Alma Maters that were lame school lyrics sung to the tune of Finlandia. Imagine this being sung to the tune of Finlandia: Beautiful upon the hill looking out to sea, There our thoughts are turning still To hours spent with thee. We love thee alma mater Our praise to thee we’ll sing, For Wagner will forever Be deep in our memory.
Cannot locate the High School lyrics but they were just as awe inspiring.

I'll say this - Finland plays hockey as near to the Canadian way as the US, maybe even nearer in some respects. So I like that.
