Tonight's show was good. I like how MeMaw and Dale are who came up with the idea on how to handle Mandy's mom and Mrs. Cooper. My advice to Missy would be this: Go sleep next door at Billy's house. Most likely his mother is still sleeping alone.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. I have one thing to say to Mandy's mother: What makes you think that Mandy is going to marry a man who eventually goes bald just like your husband did?

My favorite part of tonight's new episode was when Dale sang to the baby. My big question is will MeMaw's issue end up on Georgie's plate as soon as he is back from his honeymoon. When Sheldon was shown while the two sets of parents were talking about their family flaws, I thought that he was going to come in there and say something about the hogwash that Missy fed him. Speaking of Missy, when the marriage took place at the beginning of the show, she would've been the only family member that I would have allowed to be there to watch her brother tie the marital knot since she was completely forgotten about when his baby was born.
God bless you always!!!

Tonight's show couldn't have been better, but it did leave me with a question concerning the job situation. Does Mrs. Cooper still work at the bowling alley? God bless you always!!! Holly P.S. It was said tonight that Sheldon is now 14 years old.

I didn't say much in my last message, but after watching the show again, my most favorite thing about the show is the fact that even if Georgie had not scored a job working for Mandy's dad, he still had options considering his prior work experience. He could've gone back to work at the sporting goods store or the body shop where Billy's dad works and it did look like Mandy's mom was started to come around when she saw Georgie reading to the baby. I loved it when he said that the baby may look like her mommy and grandmother, but she poops like her daddy! My only complaint would be that we didn't get to see how well Sheldon could've done being a lawyer for MeMaw. He did so well going up against the IRS. When he came to MeMaw with his plan for her, I am guessing that maybe he just wasn't done with all of his learning yet and speaking of MeMaw, I would love to know how long that secret stash had been in the Cooper house. Was it there before the storm that blew through her own home or after? Have we seen the last of Pastor Rob, Mrs. Sparks, and the character that singing legend Reba McEntire gave to us? The last time that we saw her MeMaw made her a partner where the gambling room was concerned to make up for the jackpot money that she did not have to pay Reba's character. God bless you and Reba and the other cast members always!!! Holly

Georgie was my most favorite part of tonight's show. I might be in the minority, but I love his voice and his accent. God bless you always!!! Holly

^^^ A commercial for the show was shown during tonight's episode. The name was at the end of the commercial clip. Tonight's show was good, but I was surprised to see Mrs. Cooper back to work at the church. Speaking of work, I can't help but wonder where Mandy will be for work with the video store being closed down. Will she try for a weather person position again?
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. Will Paige be shown again at all before the series wraps up? Missy isn't supposed to hang with her anymore, but that doesn't mean that Sheldon has seen the last of her already.

I can't help but wonder how the show is going to start next week considering how tonight's show ended. Will we be seeing Georgie and Mandy getting the news or will they already know because right now, they do not.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. By the way, the current timeline for the show is February of 1994 because that is when the film that Georgie and Mandy went to see tonight got released.

A few more thoughts that I have about last night's episodes are will Mrs. Cooper ever learn about the secret vasectomy that Mr. Cooper had done? Also, how long after that procedure was his heart attack? Any medicine that he was given for the vasectomy could've been what caused the attack for all that we know.
To me, the girl who gives us Missy deserves an award for how well she did on her acting when the news was dumped on her plate, and that also goes for the lady who gives us Mrs. Cooper. I believe that what kept her from falling apart before we saw how Sheldon was taking the news is the fact that she has three kids to be strong for now that she is their only parent which is what MeMaw will also have to do.
God bless you and each cast member always!!!
Holly
P.S. I wonder if we will be seeing any of Mr. Cooper's family or anyone else besides MeMaw from Mrs. Cooper's family during the next episode should a funeral for Mr. Cooper be shown.

Another thing that I would like to know is will Missy now want Sheldon to go off to California still? She couldn't wait for him to be gone, but now that their dad has gone in a different way, will she want Sheldon to stick around longer? We know that he does get to Cal Tech at some point, but does he stick to the original plan of leaving just over a month later?
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. I would like to see Paige come to the funeral. To me, what's happened to the Cooper family is the kind of reality check that she is in bad need of. Her parents may be divorced, but at least she still has them both.

I bawled like a baby during tonight's Young Sheldon closing, but I will admit that I did laugh when Dale was shown with his guitar again and he was right. MeMaw could've walked in on a whole lot worse. When I heard Missy say to Sheldon, "I can't wait for your funeral!" I was horrified. As if losing their dad wasn't enough already. Another thing about Missy is when she remembered going to dinner at Red Lobster with her dad. When that ended up being the only memory that she addressed, I was like, "Aren't we going to see her dad help her get ready for little league?" I would like to know if Sheldon ever did come to terms with his dad's passing since nothing was ever said or done during the funeral, or was his agreeing to get baptized his way of doing all of that? What Georgie had to say at the casket and during the service couldn't have been more perfect. I wanted to throw everything that I had at MeMaw when she gave her statements during the funeral. I wanted to shake her and scream, "Why couldn't you tell him any of that when he was still here???" I wanted to put my arms around coach Wilkins because when his marriage fell apart, it was Mr. Cooper who gave him somewhere to go for company. It was cool to see Reba McEntire appear one more time as her character of June when she was shown giving food to the Cooper family. God bless you and her and the rest of the Young Sheldon cast always!!! Holly P.S. I like how the hour ended with the song that plays at the beginning of the show's very first episode.

It was a good ending. Although, because of the episode reduction due to the actor’s and writer’s strike, I wish they would have given the show a short 8th season and ended it in the fall or early winter.
I do hope we get to see Mary, Missy, Dale, Connie on the George and Mandy spinoff

^^^ That photograph only makes me wonder why we never saw anyone from his family like his parents or any siblings that he had before or after his heart attack.
Watching Georgie try to negotiate the casket price made me wonder how much they are now with him learning what it was 30 years ago and all. The person told him $3,500. Another thing that could've been addressed when Missy thought about her dad while standing at his casket was him being the one who helped her through her first menstrual period. I love how he handled that moment.
God bless you always!!!

Finally watching the last few episodes (have only the series finale to go !!), but REALLY wish they had given Lance Barber at least a quick cameo as the female mourner at the funeral (wouldn't it have been GREAT if they had done something like having "her" trip and fall while walking up to pay respect, and knock the casket over ??).......though I THINK I did spot her/him very briefly in one of the long shots of the attendees in the pews !! This shot in the episode nearly killed me......kudos to Raegan Revord for her heartfelt, beautiful performance as 'Missy', grieving in the wake of the profound and unbearable loss of her father.....this show may be called "Young Sheldon", but as far as I'm concerned, she delivered the truly standout performance in this episode (and LOVED how they portrayed 'Georgie' stepping up, despite the extreme emotional distress his family was experiencing !!) !! www.tiktok.com/discover/young-sheldon-lance-barber-funeral-behind-scene What a long, strange, yet BEAUTIFUL trip it's been !!
