To me, last night's episode was sad, what we learn at the end and the fact that Sheldon never did make it to Cape Canaveral.
God bless you and Iain (Sheldon) always!!!

Tonight's show was great! I loved watching Sheldon pick of Georgie's mess with a pencil. I wonder if the parents ever find out about his cheating on that math test.
God bless you and Iain (Sheldon) always!!!
Holly
P.S. I wanted to help him up that rope at the end so badly.

I appreciate last night's three episode re-airing of this show so much. It was my first time seeing when Sheldon's dad got sick. When I watched George Jr. follow that ambulance, I was like, "I hope they don't end up at a different hospital should there be more than one!" Where in Texas does the family reside?
God bless you always!!!

What I loved so much about last night's show was Sheldon's sister. I thought that she would be over joyed to finally have her own room, but she prayed that Sheldon would be home again soon anyways. God bless you always!!! Holly

Last night's re-airing was another episode I had not seen yet and to me, its official. Sheldon's mother is a complete and total pain in the butt! After ruining the arrangement that Sheldon was trying to make with the loan officer, she tells him "No." when he asked for a ride to Radio Shack! If it weren't for his dad, Sheldon never would've gotten anywhere in life! Why does he have to be the one who eventually dies???
God bless you always!!!

I love "Young Sheldon" but at the same time I'm getting tired of TBBT, its time to end that show. I had pictured Meemaw as an older woman but the whole series is well cast. Its perfect that Jim Parsons is the narrator.

I've not seen more than a couple minutes of "The Big Bang Theory." It didn't look that interesting to me. It kind of reminded me of "That 70s Show" in tone, and I never cared for that show. But of course I'd need to give "The Big Bang Theory" more than a couple minutes.
However, I'm loving "Young Sheldon" so far. What makes it work is the family dynamic. It reminds me a lot of "Malcolm in the Middle," which I also loved. The fish out of water aspect is great, and the highly dysfunctional but good-natured family is balanced just right, with good chemistry from a well-chosen case.

Tonight's show was good although I couldn't help but notice the hiccup on the writer's part. If Mr. Cooper went forward when Sheldon was 13 like I've been told, that would put his brother at like 18 by then. Therefore Mr. Cooper was already gone by the time Georgie got married which meant that their bet didn't mean anything anymore.
God bless you always!!!

I love The Big Bang Theory but I have not gotten into this show at all. It really reminds me of The Goldbergs and I never got into that show either.

The kid is not as annoying as sheldon was on early seasons of BBT. Let's be honest, if you repeatedly told someone their hateful malicious comments and actions angered you and that person ignored you and kept doing it you would cease to be their friend. Confronted with a Sheldon in my earlier anger management problem years after I asked him to cease being cruel for no reason and he refused I would have beat his ass severely. Aspergers doesn't make you forget what someone told you.
I occasionally will watch TBBT and Young Sheldon though. Last nights episode made me think the mom is a really shitty parent and wife though. Favoring one child over your others is horrible. Also she whined that it upset her husband she is hoarding money HE earned and wanted to blow it on Sheldon for no good reason? What a selfish bitch. No wonder the poor guy drinks.

^^^ Amen to what you say about Sheldon's mom. Her hiding that money was a secret at first and because she had been keeping it from Sheldon's dad, I am surprised that Mr. Cooper didn't ask her what else she is hiding. If she is going to keep one thing under wraps, why not other stuff?
God bless you always!!!

Last night's show was the first time that I wanted to smack Sheldon's dad. Normally I don't mind him, but it really frosted me to hear him say, "The boy needs to learn that he isn't special." I get what he was trying to say, but putting it out there like that in my opinion was way over the line. Anyone who tells their kid such thing, to me, is in serious need of a good kicking where it hurts!
God bless you always!!!

The episode where Sheldon goes to Dallas to be at a new school was shown again last night and to me, his teachers from his regular school should've been fired for drinking in the teacher's lounge, that one teacher especially for sending Sheldon on wild goose changes whenever she doesn't want to deal with him.
God bless you always!!!

Get taste, simpleton.
Haven't seen that filth and I don't need to. BBT is one of the biggest pieces of crap on TV.

drinking in the teachers lounge... well, there was a time in the 70's where teachers could smoke cigarettes/whatnot within their classroom. ash tray and all. the last i read, 1984 was the last time it was 'an acceptable practice' in some schools. id rather have a teacher go to the teachers lounge for a little nip of something [god, do teachers need it] than have one sucking on a cancer stick while trying to teach me nouns and division.
