Target IS selling vinyl albums!! It's a very-small selection and they appear to be some new SUPER AUDIO vinyl. One of them is a Beatles album (I forget which one). Along with some more current artists that you'd think would NEVER have been on vinyl.

Hipsters and Trendies have brought vinyl back. I respect the nostalgia but would never go back to such a fragile medium that can be ruined by a scratch the day you buy it.

Yes - much to my surprise, vinyl is making a comeback.
I was thinking about getting a new turntable. Don't know if I'll buy new vinyl to play on it, though.
One album I remember seeing on display on vinyl was DAMN. by Kendrick Lamar.
They wanted $40 (CAN) for it!

Joker's Wilde They didn't want that MUCH at Target. About $23. Still that's TOO MUCH for me. I MUCH prefer paying ONLY 49¢ (plus sales tax of 4¢) for a total of 53¢ per album. Every other Saturday (or two of the Saturdays in each month).

And you will be able to even play them on classic turntables!

Best Buy has some too and there's about 200 that didn't sell at my yard sale last August waiting to be donated to some thrift store smart enough to want them

Anyone who is nostalgic for vinyl really can't have lived with vinyl. Skips, scratches, warped records, all the legacy of growing up with "records". I still can't hear "A Day in the Life" without expecting a skip after the line "Fell out of bed, dragged the comb across my head", because that's where my copy of Sgt. Pepper had a skip. "Woke up fell out...stairs and drank a cup" is how I thought the song went. The lovely crackle when you set the needle down. Screaming at your friends for not putting albums in the right sleeves, stacking them on top of another, getting their grubby fingerprints on them. The only thing that was great was the album covers.
