I'm not for this idea. Avengers 4 is the time to use every second to focus on the impact to and resolution of the characters we know, not the time to introduce a major curveball. This is how I feel about the GotG being in Avengers 3. Thanos and the Infinity stones are as much the Guardians' story as it is The Avengers'. |

This is how I feel about the GotG being in Avengers 3. But that's not even comparable. The Guardians have been established to be heading for a meet up since the start. How could that possibly be the same? |

First of all they'll have Thor with them, so anybody watching this who somebody needs a core character to follow will be able to with them anyway. Not to mention they have a clear connection with both the Infinity Stones and Thanos, Xandar, Knowwhere, etc.
It's nothing like Wolverine suddenly showing up.
