A decent follow up to the original with decent performances from Balan and Rampal. This might be one of Rampal's best performances. Jugal Hansraaj fanboys can rejoice, he is back. And Bob Biswas from the original has a worthy successor. Plus , this is perhaps the only time they will ever show a satellite town of Kolkata called Chandannagar in a Bollywood movie. It does seem that the movie was made with the sole purpose of highlighting a particular issue and at times, is a bit unsubtle in it's treatment. But I guess it's necessary for the average audience. Still, one of the better movies of 2016 (from a Bollywood standpoint). Kharaj Mukherjee doesn't go OTT and turn the Bong Police officer into a caricature. The lady playing Rampal's wife also impresses in her limited screen time.

Enjoyed Balan's and Rampal's performances. It was a far worse version of the first one with the same problems. Still watchable.
