With MCU being a main universe and 'X-Men' universe being part of a Multiverse?
I mean, with the release of 'Doctor Strange', that doesn't sound like a half bad idea...

Also, if Disney is going to reboot 'X-Men', I hope they at least give the current series a proper closure...

Nah I'd rather they just start over from scratch.
But yeah the series has gone on for 17 years so if Dark Phoenix doesn't wrap it all up and least make one more movie that does.

No, they need to integrate X-Men into MCU.
I want the multiverse to be saved for What If? movies and things like Marvel Zombies, House of M, or 1602.

Feige worked in the beginning on the X-Men franchise and will have a plan ready that will do them justice.

"We're looking for worlds that are completely separate—geographically or in time—from the worlds that we've already visited" I think Feige sampled the stuff they were on when writing Doctor Strange back in the 70s.

First of all, Marvel hasn't established a multiverse in that sense. They've established different layers of reality, but not alternate realities.

So far.............. Indeed. I don't think they'll need to go that route though

So far.............. Indeed. I don't think they'll need to go that route though I don't either. They have shown a(n understandable) penchant to use their own ideas and casts.

In fact I'll guaran damn tee that they aren't using any of the current x-men cast or even insinuating that the Fox continuity exists.
Does anybody seriously think they want to cross that continuity over, because I can't imagine that's even a consideration.

I would rather they just simply created a Marvel XCU totally separate from the MCU. They can use a couple of characters in the MCU if needed but keep the mutant universe a separate entity.
The world just isn't big enough to have all those super powered beings in one world.
Also, I think it is good for Marvel studios to have more than 1 franchise.
