He's not giving it a rating yet. He thinks he has to watch it twice.

That suprises me as he usually slaps on a "awesometacular" onto anything that says 'Star Wars'. I think this is a a good thing though, he threw around the word "unsatisfied" quite a bit which probably means TLJ didn't give in to fan service and actually went the route of telling a good story.

Don't know who that is - but I can't stand to watch videos that are edited that way.

He's the most popular youtube reviewer Really? Not Chris Stuckmann? I think he's a really close second at 1.1 million subscribers. Jahns has 1.3.

I think Jahns has gone against the popular trend quite a lot this year, for example also with Guardians 2 & Dunkirk which he thought was boring. I don't know, I'll have to see the movie for myself, but during the year I kinda lost interest in Jeremy's reviews. I don't even remember if I'm still subscribed to him. Let me state that I think it's perfectly fine to have a different opinion on movies, but I feel like he recently has repeatedly given movies negative or mixed reviews without giving a lot of reasons why, while giving some other movies very good grades simply because he thought they were cool.

He's definitely a surface-level critic. He either likes what he saw and exaggerates it, or he doesn't like what he saw and exaggerates it. He's not really one to delve deep into why something works or doesn't, which is frustrating. I really only watch Stuckmann now. Even the Schmoes Know don't really delve into why they like something or not anymore.

Another youtube account with good reviews is Breaking Banter. They only have 15 thousand subscribers or so, but their reviews and movie essays from 2017 are quality content.

I need to check those guys out ASAP. I've heard nothing but great things about them, but I always forget to look them up. Having another new and inspired insight would be nice.
