My middle daughter, a big Muso and talented player , recently said she would rather stick pins in herself than spend one night viewing at Glastonbury or similar, citing mud, crowds, queuing , drunkenness etc. Rather watch on the telly. Of course I am betting Coachella etc in the States is warmer . I've done my fair share of Knebworths', Finsbury Fliedhs and Reading festivals and do like a comfy hotel after a gig now but have enjoyed days when the lineup has been predominantly fab for my tastes.
Just wondering what would be your dream 1O act lineup of current/living acts for a day or two of outside activities and over-priced noodles.
Mine at present, being as I asked:
Caro Emerald Chromatics Red Hot Chilli Peppers Tony Joe White Hawkwind Dread Zeppelin Aimee Mann Easy All-Stars WARPAiNT FUTURE ISLANDS

Since this is all hypothetical, mine exists in a universe where such a lineup was possible.
At the Drive-In Guided by Voices Silversun Pickups The Breeders Smashing Pumpkins Nirvana Rage Against the Machine Beastie Boys The Beatles Pink Floyd

John Cooper Clarke - hecklers beware. Jack White (and Meg) - yeah, a good way to start the music Echobelly - Brit Pop survivors with irresistibly charming singer The Cure - classic after classic Brandon Flowers - if he only does Crossfire that's okay Bruce Springsteen - never seen him, heard he's not bad live (!) Mazzy Star - maybe shoulda put 'em on earlier but they set the scene for the finale Future Islands - you can't take your eyes off Sam's moves, man Suede - they still rock live Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds - you can't finish with anyone else
