Looks like it will be a year or so before their deal with Disney officially takes effect.

Enjoy it while it lasts, the faithful have waited this long... Hear this, and know it to be true, the Marvel fandom is no longer splintered into quarreling factions. MCU brothers and sisters will no longer make war on their Fox brethren. Wherever we go, wherever we stand, we are one. Welcome to the Capital City of the new MCU! This land is mine! Hee hee hee...

I could care less about Wolverine-Magneto: Stryker Part 7 This Time There's a Cameo by Dark Phoenix.
It doesn't matter. Disney is most likely giving them time to wrap up their current projects. I doubt Wolverine-Magneto: Stryker Part 7 will even be cancelled. That will get completed and so will New Mutants and Deadpool 2 and that will be it. Deadpool will carry over with no problem due to it's mass popularity.

But if you choose another way, the Marvel way, you will die in due time, and rise again in the new consolidated MCU.
Convert now or fall forever. Hee hee hee...

They won't cancel it. Disney doesn't officially take over for a year. So everything that's on the slate for 2018 is safe.

Looks like it will be a year or so before their deal with Disney officially takes effect. No kidding. Did you think they were going to halt production and start from scratch? It'll be interesting to see how the sale effects audiences. Will people bother seeing movies from a now-dead franchise? Does that make it undead? Marvel zombies indeed.

That's something they brought up on Screen Junkies. But honestly, does the general audience really know or care? Did they notice when Disney bought and sold past studios? Did people cry about not seeing Pulp Fiction because it was under Disney like people here are crying about a non-existent PG13 Deadpool movie?

I would've seen it no matter which studio produced it.

Hell, there are still a lot of people that don't pay attention to the beginning of the movie that clearly show DC and Marvel logos and think that all the superhero movies are made by one company. And people like Feige know this. That's why they say that they want all CBMs to be good and not fail. Cause it affects the others.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix = CancelledX-Men: Dark Phoenix finished shooting not too long ago and while the movie was recently the subject of an Entertainment Weekly cover story, it's entirely possible Disney will just scrap it and that it will never see the light of day. That may seem like a tremendous waste of money but the post-production process has only just started and the studio might be happier doing that After all, if the presence of mutants is first going to be teased in Avengers 4, Marvel Studios won't want X-Men: Dark Phoenix hitting theaters five months beforehand, confusing people as to what comes next for the heroes.

Well WB accounced that they would be rebooting Batman after The Dark Knight Rises years before it came out and most people still wanted to see it.

X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX Canceled?Today will forever be remembered as the darkest day in Hollywood history. That would be amazing, but unfortunately Fox will get to screw up that story again. Lest we fall for this revisionist history stuff that Fox was amazing with the X-men. No...they were not. The damage they are doing to the Dark Phoenix saga will take decades to repair.
