Basically because Fantastic Four's rights are not really owned by Fox. And the Skrulls are Fantastic Four characters. But I don't think they are using the Skrulls, but a Skrull character.

Nah, they need Marvel permission to do that. I thought they could use characters, but not the race. Meaning, they could use Skrull Queen, but they can't use the Skrulls. Like how they can use Deadpool and Juggernaut, but they have to make them into mutants because they can't use super humans. I'm guessing they aren't going to say that she is a Skrull. Just call her Veranke. |
