We all knew the deal was coming, Now that Disney has forced xmen into the mcu stuff, no need to cancel new mutants, legion and xforce..right?
Let Marvel Disney prove their worth if they are not the childish comedy universe we all know they are and how bad that is for X-Men. New mutants, legion and xforce does not affect anything and can still be made as else worlds stand alones.
The only thing they need to get rid off is the main xmen movies. Disney has tried to down play the fans worry by saying they will make r rated films just for xmen and expand in their own words the ‘’rich complex’’ world of the xmen universe, this should mean that X-men keeps it serious grounded tone and james franco ,multiple man movie should not be cancelled, that could be another standalone movie that does lead to X-Factor and no, it’s not comedy.
If Disney fails to do all of this then it just proves the real xmen fans were right. They now have X-Men but can they adapt the tone and stories like fox did with no holds back? We shall see

No, the X-Men will finally be released from their shackles and be free to embrace an un-grounded approach. And it will be better for it.
The FoX-Men fans will be forced to acknowledge that they wasted over a decade of their lives on subpar movies.

You'll start seeing actual X-Men films and not Wolverine-Magneto: Stryker movies. Storylines will be set up and villains like Apocalypse won't be one offs. You'll see more X-Men and not just Wolverine all the time and more villains not just Magneto and Stryker all the time.
Sure the other films will be send offs/get cancelled, but who cares. The MCU will give X-Men the treatment it deserves.

Apocalypse is one of the most important X-Men villains, they would absolutely use him and they would do Age of Apocalypse justice. He's not a very good villain, really...in fact the X-Men don't have any good villains aside from Magneto. The X-Men have a lot of good villains. Singer just refuses to use any of them. |

X-Men movies are not Disney tame like MCU movies. Look at how iron man 2 changed so much from iron man 1 and I will not say Iron Man 1 was as brash as the xmen movies but that was the Disney factor in iron man 2. MCU's Captain America has awful cinematography and are thinly plotted.The tone of xmen movies are usually serious, drama driven and grounded with less explosions as your mcu movies. They are not fun cgi comedy. If you want to compare xmen movies to the others, compare it to the Nolan movies in tone and approach. it also has to do with the source material of x-men, if you care and dare to read it. Yeah tame, remember when Age Of Ultron should have been more like DOFP or how Thor 3 should be have been more like LOTR than GOTG? This is the tame xmen is clearly not.As I said, thank god at least those xmen movies were made, this will be homecoming all over again, where the only people that think it is the best spiderman film are MCU fans not actual real spiderman fans that never read any comic. |

As I said, if Disney can handle xmen properly- new mutants, adapting more xmen stories like DOFP and OML, Deadpool/X-force and multiple man should not be cancelled or changed. Any lame excuses is just mcu fans been blind minions to Disney.
