...and don't forget there is an annual Christmas time song entitled "Suzy Snowflake" that dates from the 1950's... Wow at first I didn't think I had known that one but I looked it up and recognized part of it. I was born mid '60s. The "tap tap tappin on the window pain" is very familiar and the tune somewhat. Has this been updated/incorporated into something else from around 1970s?

The snowflake term.
I first heard reference to it about a year ago to describe the spoiled kids of complaining Democrats and also to describe the adults. Since around the time the result of the 2016 election. I still hear it mostly in political discussions, but now even Democrats use it as a derogatory term to describe complaining Republicans. On some post (I think here) I had mentioned to someone that it was usually Republicans who use the term not Democrats, they told me it is used by both parties. It is true both parties are using the term, but I still think it originated with the Republicans.
It is fitting to those late teens and early 20somethings that seem to be "lost" at all times.

More like scapegoat generation. Anytime something's fucked up, blame the millennials or anyone born after 1980. ironically, this is a pretty typical millennial tactic.

It has basically become a term to describe somebody that disagrees with you politically or somebody that takes issue with anything.

Not people who i disagree with politically.

Not people who i disagree with politically. And you are correct because that is what the term really means. I'm just saying it's now been twisted into a meaningless term that everybody just throws around towards political opponents.
