I mean they are already co-produced by Marvel Television. I remember there being plans for an Exiles TV shows that explores the multiverse(with Gifted showing the team members) The DC shows are already exploring that concept, so there is no reason why they can’t do that.

Disney cancelled three shows when they took over Marvel, so Legion and The Gifted could go the same route now that Disney has taken over Fox. I hope it won't, but it could happen.
Both shows haven't really been established in any timeline/reality so they could integrate them into the MCU if they wanted. Considering the X-Men films have played around with time travel both shows could be in their own separate timelines outside of the X-Men universe.
