Two big movies that seem to have disappointed a lot of fans. Question is, which do you think was the better movie? The Last Jedi or Justice League?

I gotta go with JL. TLJ was leaps and bounds better when it comes to visual style, though.

I gotta give it to Last Jedi. There are major problems with it, especially with the story, but the CGI and visuals are much better, and regardless of how you feel about some of the characterizations of the characters whether they're right or wrong, especially Luke, their performances were spot on, definitely Mark Hamill's strongest performance. The Justice League's performances were fine, but nothing special, and the story was fine but way too reliant on piss-poor CGI

It wasn't his fault that Rian Johnson wrote his character up as "get off my lawn guy" searching for his lost bottle of Beefeater.

Visuals, pacing, acting and overall quality seemed better with TLJ. Fight choreography, writing and consistency were better with JL.
I guess in the end I could objectively say that TLJ was the better movie.. but it also felt like it intentionally messed up Star Wars lore and made for some massive plotholes and copout answers.
So while I can say that Justice League is the worse movie, at least it didn't piss me off as much as TLJ did.

This is getting ridiculous now. Justice League was not a good movie at all and there is no comparison.

Two big movies that seem to have disappointed a lot of fans. Question is, which do you think was the better movie? The Last Jedi or Justice League? Actually JL disappointed critics and pleased fans, while TLJ did the reverse. Consider the Rotten Tomatoes scores: TLJ: 93% critics, 54% fans. JL: 41% critics, 78% fans. (Or don't consider RT, after all I'm starting to dislike RT myself more and more all the time.)
The "fans" who were disappointed with JL (coughmcucoughfanaticscough) were folks who were already shitting on it before it even came out. Look at the posts on this site and the corresponding dates. They were already poo pooing it before they even saw it. Bad word of mouth killed that movie.
