Probably true though. Track and field, like cycling, is awash with drugs.

Fascinating.
Not from a track and field perspective - but as a human interest story for me.
Like Jon Jones in UFC, repeat offenders in the NFL, etc - I'm always intrigued by those who choose to keep trying to beat the system.
Why? After the public humiliation, possible loss of money, trust of loved ones.
Only to do it again. Fame and fortune? Fear that you're just not good enough to compete against others?
Ego driven and you'll do whatever it takes to be #1 at any cost (I personally think this is the case a lot of times) even if it means 'cheating'?
