Tough call but I'd probably go for ISLAND OF LOST MEN as showing him at his most bewitching - although THE LADY EVE and THE SHANGHAI GESTURE also see him at his seductive best What say you? "Tell Mama.... Tell Mama all"

Sorry about calling you timsheboy in the above post timshelboy. It was not intentional, only noticed it after I had posted it. and one can.t edit these posts. Nor was it a Freudian Slip. (smile emoticon) You might be an old queen, but I doubt you are a sheboy. The alien-like dude in the guest avatar might be a sheboy, though.

Hello, Tim. I'm glad we found our way here!
Eric was always beautiful, maybe his most beautiful in the Astaire and Rodgers films!

It's got to be in Top Hat, what a hunk! Seriously though, Blore is one of my favourite actors. He and frequent co-star Edward Everett Horton should have got their own film series.

Eric Blore was at his best with Fred and Ginger.

Is Eric Blore related to Madonna or Elizabeth Taylor?

Hey timshelboy a name I recognize from the Classic Film Boards! I hope more from that board find their way here! My favorites with Eric Blore are also The Lady Eve, and both The Divorcee and Top Hat with Fred and Ginger.

Sorry timshelboy, I was joking about you being "old". Can you ever forgive me? Yes you are forgiven - BUT AT A PRICE - your penance is to seek out and watch at least a dozen of his movies and then start a full scale thread "appreciating" him! By 20th Feb !!!!!! Oh - and never ever buy ANYTHING from Amazon ever again
