Have a good one sports boarders โ๐
Don't forget to have a bonfire tonight to see off the longest night, and welcome the sun back tomorrow, northern hemisphere people.

I'm a giant horror dork. It's odd - seems to be very little decent vampire or werewolf movies out there. 30 Days of Night is one of the few in my eyes. I love nature and the desolate cold - darkness - isolation - picture 'The Shining' and 'Misery' if you've ever seen them. The thought of all darkness in the brutal cold makes for a pretty cool atmosphere IMO. Type of guy that can go hiking in the pitch black in the mountains with a flashlight in 5 degree temperatures. Trying to think of any other types of movies that capture this vibe. Insomnia - terrific underrated movie with Al Pacino, Robin Williams, Hilary Swank is pretty much the reverse - all daylight in Alaska - the idea of 24 hours of darkness a d then 24 hours of light is creepy cool/creepy to me.
