Now that they've sidelined Scholes (great player, terrible studio guest) the show has really come on.
Been getting some really fascinating insights the last couple of months especially from Lampard & Rio, as well as the likes of McManaman, Jenas, Savage even Martin Keown. The presenter (not sure his name) is doing a great job at bringing the best out of the guests, because you probably wouldn't think that lot would be that interesting.
Anyone else a fan?

havent seen it - but how can it NOT get better without scholes. he isn't upo to the job. Its an odd one - I doubt there is a Man child or Woman in england that could be worse.. My head wonders when he comes on- it normally goes to this board i suppose. - if i saw him on a park bench in less quality clothes, and not a top footballer - i reckon i would section him . He seems to be needed to be on constant suicide watch.

Rio with some interesting comments from back when they were training together. Here it is:

I prefer the ESPN FC show. It's made for Yanks but they're constantly taking the piss and hardly ever talk about the actual game.
Craig Burley, Steve Nichol, Shaka Hislop and some Hispanic who played in the MLS. Plus Gab Marcotti and Raphael Honigsetin contribute a lot.

Burley is hilarious. The show is pretty funny especially him.
but watching the BT show -whilst it isnt as funny - but much more involved and insightful.

I'd rather watch Dave Lee Travis play Macbeth!
