Disclaimer: The usual. My thoughts: I wish more people would try turning the television off and see how long they can go before they run to turn it back on again. And then they can try and tell themselves that they aren't addicted to the constant stream of sensory input which it provides. No, of course they're not addicted to it. They can quit any time they want to.

I can go without tv easily and bet most Millennials have no trouble doing the same. It's when the internet is down that you start to panic

"I wish more people would try turning the television off and see how long they can go before they run to turn it back on again."
Considering less and less people even watch TV anymore that's not very difficult. I'm surprised it even still exists, too many geriatrics that dunno how to use that cofounded Internet I suppose.

"This warning brought to you by the year 1985...." Was that supposed to mean anything, or was it just the first dumb thing you could think of to say?

"This warning brought to you by the year 1985...." Was that supposed to mean anything I'll take "Years when the TV was the relevant media source" for 300, Alex.

Aw, such a funny answer. Now here's your reward. Enjoy. ππππ They always used that same damn dramatic music at the climax of an Airwolf episode. Why couldn't they use "Lollipop" for once, just to be different?

Except propaganda is not just on TV, or internet, or even media in general. It's everywhere, telling us what to think and do, and leaving out what we shouldn't think. It's rampant in schools and universities, it's in the music we buy and listen to, it's at the water cooler, local bar, doctor's waiting room, dinner table, etc being happily re-transmitted and spread, as well as just about any other place you can imagine.

Only time I watch TV anymore is sports with my dad (who doesn't want to learn how to use the internet), when I work out, and... that's it! I can easily imagine TV being completely irrelevant within ~20 years.

I can easily imagine TV being completely irrelevant within ~20 years. Completely irrelevant? Even for news and sports? Yep. Both can be/are posted/streamed online. Amazon even streamed a few NFL games this year. It's getting harder and harder to justify the extra expense for cable.

How the Satanic New World Order tells you what to think?Step 1: It establishes an IMDB forums handle of βErjenβ Step 2: It then floods the boards with YouTube videos that discuss various conspiracy theories Step 3: It attempts to spawn discussions to bolster the legitimacy of such far fetched claims Step 4: It successfully influences what approximately 1 gullible nimbskull out of every 15 posters thinks Congratulations NWO, youβre on a roll!
